MegaChad buffed in MegaBonk v1.0.17 — infinite scaling returns, aura build with size tome and opacity slider

MegaBonk MegaChad Buffed — Infinite Scaling Is Back

MegaChad mains, it’s time to cook again. In v1.0.17, the dev shipped two changes that supercharge Chad builds:

    • MegaChad Passive: “Gain 2.5% damage every time you flex.”
    • Visuals QoL: “Particles and effects opacity slider (auto opacity on by default).”

Together, these make Aura/Size setups much smoother and more readable — and that means we can finally slam Size Tome without turning the screen into a rave.

What Changed And Why It Matters

    • Infinite Scaling, Simpler Trigger.
MegaChad’s passive now ramps damage whenever you flex, which creates a clean, repeatable scaling loop as the run goes long. You get real scaling without needing degenerate edge cases.

    • Aura Is Back (And Better).
With the new opacity control, high-size projectiles and overlapping effects won’t blind you. Aura builds that scale size and duration become way more playable.

    • You Can Actually Take Size Tome.
Before, max-size setups were unreadable and could even hurt performance. Now you can push size confidently while keeping visibility.

    Quick Start: MegaChad Aura Setup

    • Core Concept
Stack damage multipliers from the passive while scaling size/duration on your aura-based weapon(s). Use the new opacity setting to keep the screen clean.

    • Play Tips

      • Flex frequently to keep the damage stacking. Don't forget.
      • Opacity: start on auto; lower further if your build becomes a fireworks show.
      • Banish smart: remove weak pickups to chase key scaling pieces.

    Build Notes & Synergies

    • MegaChad + Aura + Size:
Scaling size turns Aura into a moving blender. With better visibility, you won’t lose track of enemies by making your other stuff bigger, shrines, or chests.

Should You Send it with MegaChad Right Now?

If you like simple inputs with big numbers over time, yes. The passive is strong, readable, and scales into the deep endgame. Aura enjoyers especially will feel the difference from the opacity slider.
